Go on - claim your independence!  It looks good on you.  Click on the box anywhere on our website and instantly be redirected to the ticket page of your choosing.  Enter your personal details and your credit card number, and your tickets will be waiting for you at the box office upon your arrival.

Greenhouse uses Tix.com online box office services.  If you've never purchased tickets with us before, the system will ask you to create a Login and Password for use with your email addess.  This is not only super handy to have for all the shows that you will come to see here, but also for purchasing tickets from our buddies at Redmoon and Piccolo Theatre in Evanston who also use Tix.com.  Please note that if you have purchased online tickets before with any other Tix.com user, you will likely already have a Login and Password in the system.  Now if only you could remember what those were again.  Not to fear - if you're having problems logging in, Tix.com can reset your password for you or you can always create a new account.

Greenhouse Theater Center charges a $2.50* per ticket fee for all online purchases.

Need a little assistance with your ticket purchase?  Have more questions about the show or special seating requests?  No problem - give us a call at 773.404.7336 and we're happy to help.  Our Box Office is open Wednesday through Saturday from Noon until 8pm and Sunday from Noon until 4pm.

Calling after hours for a late night show?  Our phones automatically shut off at 8pm, but that doesn't mean we've all gone home!  Call anyway and wait to be redirected to leave a message for the Box Office (or press ext. 203 at the prompt) and if there is someone available to answer your call - we will!

Greenhouse Theater Center charges a $3.00* per ticket fee for all phone orders.

Well, hello there!  In the neighborhood and want to swing by to pick up a pair of tickets?  Come on in!  Our Box Office is located at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave, just south of the Lincoln, Halsted, Fullerton intersection.  Our regular Box Office hours are Wednesday through Saturday from Noon until 8pm and Sunday from Noon until 4pm - but we stay open for 30 minutes after the curtain of the latest show in the building, so that means that on MOST Friday and Saturday evenings we'll be here until 11:30pm.  Unlike mom, we love drop in company (as long as you're of the ticket-buying kind).

Since most of our shows are General Admission, if you have a special need or seating request, we ask that you give us a "heads-up" phone call at 773.404.7336.  You can still buy your tickets online, but please let us know if you will require any assistance upon your arrival at the theater so we can alert our House Managers ahead of time.

Greenhouse Theater Center is fully accessible with automatic exterior doors and reserved wheelchair seating in each theater upon request.

If your show falls on a Monday or Tuesday evening or during another time when the Box Office is typically closed, we will open for that show one-hour before curtain for Will-Call and will remain open until 30 minutes post curtain.  Messages left on the Box Office line will be answered and calls returned while we are in the office if they pertain to the off-night performance specifically.  All other calls will be returned during regular office hours.

We love a good crowd!  Group tickets are available for most performances, but may not always be organized by our Box Office.  We don't expect you to know that though, so give us a call at 773.404.7336 and tell us which show you're planning to bring your party to and we'll let you know who you need to contact to make your booking.  As a general rule, a group consists of at least 10 people or more to qualify for any special discounts.

Greenhouse Theater Center charges a one-time $5.00* processing fee PER GROUP in lieu of a per ticket fee.

Currently, our Box Office processes season subscriptions for Remy Bumppo, Theatre Seven of Chicago and MPAACT.  Many of our other resident companies offer subscriptions, but still prefer to process them on their own, so you will need to contact them directly to arrange your season pass.  For the subscriptions that we DO process, a one-time order fee of $5.00 applies to each order.

Due to the configuration of some of our stages, walking in after the performance has started is very disruptive to both the actors on stage and the audience who arrived on time.  A dialogue between the House Staff, Stage Management and the Box Office determines whether or not the show will hold past the published curtain time for latecomers.  In cases of extreme weather, bad traffic situations, and unusually long lines at the Box Office where a large number of audience members have not yet been seated at curtain time, the show will be held for a number of minutes.  Once the show has started, however, ALL LATE SEATING WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF HOUSE MANAGEMENT.  Depending on the show and on the individual company policy, there is usually a late seating point during the first 15 minutes of the show.  After that point, you will be asked to wait to be seated until the intermission.  To avoid any and all unpleasantness involving late seating, we advise and appreciate you arriving early or on time for your show.

Come as you are, as long as "you are" involves clothing.  We think it's equal parts respectable and cute when people dress up to come to a show.  After all - this is "The Theater."  But jeans will also suffice if that's what you've got in your closet.  We think how you behave once you're inside the theater speaks more volumes than what you wear to the theater.

*Some producing companies may choose to include our mandatory ticketing fees as part of the advertised ticket price.
